Theatre Verity presents Rabbit Hole, the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by David Lindsay-Abaire

Theatre Verity unveils its inaugural Pay What You Can production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire, Friday, October 26th at 8:00 pm, at Freehold Theatre. Theatre Verity was formed by local actors Meredith Binder, Kris Keppeler, Martyn G. Krouse and Telisa Steen to bring art to the community and make it accessible to all. In a leap of faith Theatre Verity is offering all performances of Rabbit Hole as Pay What You Can.
Becca and Howie have everything a family could want, until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside down. Rabbit Hole charts their bittersweet search for a path that will lead them back into the light of day. Backstage called Rabbit Hole “a painstakingly beautiful, dramatically resourceful, exquisitely human new play." The play won the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Directed by Louise Penberthy, Theatre Verity’s production features Meredith Binder as Becca, Kris Keppeler as Nat, Martyn G. Krouse as Howie, Telisa Steen as Izzy, and Dylan Zucati as Jason. Lighting design by Tess Malone and Costumes & Set Design by Kristina Hestenes Simpson, with Alyssa Selbrede Stage Managing & Shaelyn Russell Assistant Stage Managing.
Rabbit Hole opens at Freehold Theatre on October 26th and runs through November 10th, Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00pm. There is also a Thursday night show, November 8th at 8:00pm and Saturday matinees November 3rd and 10th at 2:00pm. Tickets to all shows are Pay What You Can at the door or in advance at rabbithole.brownpapertickets.com. Freehold Theatre is located at 2222 2nd Avenue in Seattle’s Belltown district.
